Health Insurance
At this time, acupuncture is not a reimbursable expense for most insurance companies in Louisiana. Please check your insurance company if your policy covers acupuncture before your visit.
We do not bill insurance companies for you, and payment is due at the time of service. After your visit, you can request a receipt containing the appropriate codes that your insurance company would need if they will reimburse you directly according to your policy.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
AT LEAST 24 HOUR NOTICE FOR CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING IS REQUIRED TO AVOID $25 FEE.
In order to offer high-quality health care to all patients, we respectfully request at least 24 hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, other patients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services.
Any appointment missed, late cancelled, or changed without 24 hour advance notice will result in a charge of $25. If appointments have been prepaid, the missed, cancelled or rescheduled appointment fee of $25 will be deducted from the patient's balance. If you fail to show or notify us about difficulty in keeping your appointment time in more than three (3) occasions, you may be prohibited from scheduling an appointment with us.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time, we will adjust our schedule and moving your appointment to the next available spot after you arrive. While we understand that delays may happen, we have an obligation and responsibility to provide our very best service to patients who are here for their appointments on time. We strongly encourage you to arrive at least 10 minutes early for scheduled appointments if you are a new patient, as we do have administrative paperwork that will need to be completed.
